心武名師录

This page provides interviews with and videos of living-legend regional masters. Their specialized skills are representative of original martial arts culture. These masters are honorary members of Xin Wu Men Association. They have offered to share their knowledge to help us in our efforts.

 master su  苏昱彰先生简介: --------八極拳,七星螳螂拳一代宗師.

Master Dr. Su, Yu-Chang is the Director and Founder of the Pachi Tanglang Martial Arts Association, with branches in 11 countries around the world. Following his four legendary teachers, Master Su's schools give instruction in many styles of traditional kung fu, from Pachi Chuan to Pakua Chuan.  Master Su, also known as "Lightning Hands" by the martial arts community, is the author of five books on Chinese martial arts and philosophy, as well as six instructional videos. His students have won many world martial arts championships in full contact sparing. He lives in Taiwan and teaches there, as well as Spain, Japan, and New York City.

 

master li  李樹森先生簡介: --------山西任氏七星螳螂拳一代宗師. 山西七星螳螂拳研究會協會會長

Master Li, Shu Sen started training in kung fu when he was only 9 years of age.  He learned a variety of traditional systems, such as Plum Boxing, Flower Boxing, and Shaolin, as well as many weapons systems.

There were five great teachers in Master Li’s adolescence and young adulthood: Masters Guan De Shan, Liu En Jun, Zhang Lian, Zhao Wen Yuan, and Pan Bu Tian.  They taught him Black Tiger Boxing, Ba Gua, and 7-Star Tai Chi, among other things.  At 28, he began his lifelong study of 7-Star Praying Mantis with Master Ho Zhuo Ru, eventually forming the Shanxi 7-Star Praying Mantis Committee

As Head Judge and President of the Mongolian Martial Arts Assoc, Master Li organizes various martial arts competitions.  He is a frequent contributor to China’s Wu Shu Magazine, and  students around the world call him “teacher.”  Master Li is noted for the purity of his traditional style. He lives and teaches in Inner Mongolia, China.

 dong  董綏生先生簡介:陳式太極十九代傳人

Master Dong Xisheng has been practicing Tai Chi since he was 18. He studied Chen style Tai Chi under the 19th Generation Master Tu Musi, who in turn was taught by Chen Haokui. In addition to Tai Chi, Master Dong has studied the Yi Jing, or Book of Changes, and ancient book of divination, Qi Gong, and Daoism. His expertise came through rigorous training. For three years, he spent eight hours a day practicing. Master Dong is also the founder of the Chen Style Tai Chi Assocation in Mongolia.

youfu 李有甫先生簡介:中國第一代武術教授

Master Li Yofu is a doctor of Chinese medicine, a professor of Martial Arts, and a Master of Chen style Tai Chi, Bagua, and Long Fist. He studied Chen style Tai Chi under Chen Ji Sheng and Chen Shengpu. From them Master Li learned how to use pressure points. But instead of using them for fighting, he has devoted the knowledge to healing. He is also a judge in an International Traditional Martial Arts Competition. He lives and teaches in California.
